Policy to be clear and straightforward, minimizing potential conflicts. It’s important to understand that you are
not paying for guaranteed results. By Owner Home Listings enables you to act as your own agent, giving you the
power to make key decisions that impact the success of your sale: setting the price, determining cooperation
with a buyer’s agent, assisting with contribution towards buyer’s closing costs, and showcasing your property,
among other factors. With By Owner Home Listings, instead of paying a full-service agent for results, you are
paying a small flat fee plus a reduced commission (if applicable) for access to top-notch marketing and FSBO
technology available to both agents and non-agents.
If you are not satisfied with our services, please contact us immediately so we can address and resolve your
concerns. Should you remain unsatisfied after we attempt to rectify the issues, you may request a refund, minus
a non-refundable $75 deposit, provided that all of the following conditions are met:
- Your order was placed within the last 5 days.
- You have not signed the Listing Agreement.
- Your listing has not gone live.
No Refunds on additional services: Additional services such as yard signs and posts, lockboxes, cost of photos
and videos, cost of virtual staging, and ShowingTime services are non-refundable.
After Your Property is Listed, We Guarantee That:
- Your broker will strive to accurately enter the listing information you provided into the MLS.
- Your property will be listed with at least one photo that you supplied.
- Any errors brought to our attention will be corrected promptly.
- We will work closely with you to fulfill our commitments.
- By Owner Home Listings will equip you with contact details and communication tools to address issues
on third-party websites like Zillow, Trulia, Realtor.com, and Redfin.
We do Not Guarantee: - We do not guarantee the sale of your home. Various factors beyond our control, including those
determined by you such as pricing, photos, and buyer agent compensation, can influence the sale.
Cancellation Policy: - You may cancel your MLS listing at any time by submitting a Change Request through our website,
provided there is no pending contract on the property with a buyer procured by us or a cooperating
broker. Make sure you understand both the Termination Date/Protection Period and Conditional
Termination clauses as specified in your Exclusive Listing Agreement. Penalties/fees may apply. If you
choose to reinstate your canceled MLS listing within the term of the listing agreement, a reinstatement
fee will apply, which may be equivalent to the cost of a new listing, depending on the MLS service
provider.
